As a young man having spent most of his summers vacationing with his parents in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Peter Zagorski had always loved the outdoors. He loved the boundless activities nature provides, as well as the serenity and peacefulness. So during the late sixties it was only natural that Peter pursued a university degree at Boston College - majoring in Science and the Humanities.

Meanwhile, Peter's brother, Zigler Zagorski, pursued a different kind natural existence at Berkerley in California, where Zigler met Dr. Timothy Leary and Jerry Garcia. No one really knows what may have happened to Peter Zagorski's brother, Zig, after the early seventies. Some say he did some modeling for a cigarette rolling paper company. Some say he was lost at sea during a hurricane.

With a Doctorate degree in Chemistry from MIT, Peter Zagorski resigned fom his teaching position to accept a new responsibility as Director of Science at a large, east coast chemical company that promised "Better things for better living through chemistry". Peter Zagorski thought he had found the perfect opportunity to give something back to this world that had treated him so wonderfully during his youth.

Things being as unpredictable as they are, after spending 20 years in east coast traffic jams, wearing a stupid three piece suit every day, battling dickhead accountants and super straight MBA's, and finally realizing that "better things for better living" were things like dioxin, PCB's, PVC's, Agent Orange, and BVD's, Dr Zagorski packed his van and moved to Alaska, where he found himself naturally.

In the late eighties, Dr Zagorski ventured back to one of his childhood treasures, Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He was suffering painfully from the Yampa Valley curse of the Ute Indians (which says that once you visit the Yampa valley - where Steamboat lies - you will always come back!) So he did.

Here in Steamboat, Dr Zag is credited with two amazinq inventions: The first is discovering how to seed the clouds with laser beams thus producing the famous Steamboat Champagne Powder; the second is creating the only real fast wax in the World - Steamboat's own Dr Zag's Mountain Wax. "GO FAST OR GO HOME" is what you can here him say to those Texas Tourons as he blows by them on those double digit powder days in Steamboat...and he just keeps grinning...
